We recently became the first printer in Minnesota to install a W&D 410 Easy Enveloper, and we’re excited to see its initial project in production.

Designing for a major healthcare company, our GATHER Digital Marketing team created an envelope with large areas of ink coverage — a stunning look that’s sure to stand out in the mailbox. The envelope’s interior, which uses a repeating pattern, complements that design while also serving as a security tint.

The ability to create high-quality envelopes in house meets our clients’ increasing desire to streamline processes and add additional customization. As we saw with supply chain shortages during the pandemic, purchasing envelopes from outside vendors can lead to delays. With the Easy Enveloper, we hope to eliminate that potential.

With the new equipment up and running, our entire team anticipates increased creativity and personalization for direct mail projects. Here are four reasons we think you may want to consider it for your next project.

  • CONSISTENT QUALITY. Purchasing envelopes from multiple vendors can result in quality and sizing variations. With the W&D 410 Easy Enveloper, we can ensure the same high level of quality on every run and make sure envelopes are the ideal fit for our inserting process.

  • FUN (AND ENGAGING) CUSTOMIZATION. The W&D 410 Easy Enveloper handles a wide range of stocks from cost-efficient papers to linens. It also gives you options for die cuts, windows, and special coatings such as spot UV, foil, and soft touch.

  • FLEXIBLE TURN TIMES. With the ability to do everything in-house, we reduce the likelihood of supply chain delays.

  • REDUCED NEED FOR INVENTORY. If you’ve ordered a lot of envelope inventory in the past, you know it can tie up your budget. You also run the risk of envelopes getting too old to use or being wasted if your artwork changes. With this new equipment, you can skip the inventory and have what you need created anytime.

Have a project that might be a good fit for the Easy Enveloper? We’d love to give you a quote.
