When it comes to printing operations, redundancy means improved up time and increased capacity. Which is why we are excited to announce our latest purchase: the Canon ColorStream 3900Z Monochrome Inkjet Press.

Adding a second roll-fed inkjet press means we’ll be able to deliver the speed and cost efficiencies our clients seek — and continue meeting the huge demand for ballot printing including vote-by-mail services. SeaChange is also installing the VIDEK Print Monitoring System onto the press to provide operators an ideal interface point for live viewing and inspection to ensure quality production. It’s all part of our commitment to embracing technology and redefining print.

While this press will also be used for healthcare and educational materials along with other high-security projects, SeaChange’s growth in ballot printing and vote by mail services was a big driver in the decision to expand.

The new press should be running by April. Want to see what’s possible? Contact us any time to set up a tour or a virtual meeting. We’d love to connect.
