The program, now in its 40th year, honors entrepreneurs who are redefining what it means to lead—not just building businesses, but transforming industries and shaping the future.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year award celebrates founders and CEOs who have made a lasting impact through purpose, performance, and progress. Wendi is one of just 30 finalists selected from across the Heartland region — including Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and the Dakotas — for her vision, innovation, and ability to drive meaningful change.

The Heartland award winners will be celebrated on June 19 in Minneapolis. The regional winners will then compete for national recognition in November—and possibly a global spotlight in 2026.
